Over 49,000 on a Tuesday night , playing Preston North End !   Maybe a few from Sunderland and the 'Boro came along to watch some decent football ? LOL !

You know a clubs a big club when they can drop down a division and their attendance doesnt move..............always liked that ground as an away fan hope to see them straight back up.

good result ,some people know when to keep there head down when there playing sh.te

I think you'll find it was 51,880; the ground doesn't hold 55,000. They've had over 50,000 average for the six home games they've played this season, and will take around 6,000 to Barnsley on Tuesday night. Phenomenal support !

They have and always will be the first fixture in the northeast you look out for who wouldn't want to go to the biggest most successful club in the northeast even a goodnight out round there i don't think it will be long before there back were they belong
