Hi lads have any of you guys purchased and used the security camera's that send you a email or sms when a movement has been detected. Are they reliable and would the sms or email be instant once movement is detected. Im well aware they state this will happen but does it.Timing would be very important.

You can get some that you watch from your phone. I did a mole for somebody and he was hundreds of miles away watching.

He phoned home to send the wife out offering to pay..

A mate had all the equipment you earlier mentioned,he got a message on his phone late at night in the boozer,the 10 minutes it took him to get a ride cost him the majority of his kennel,never to be seen again.The majority of the time he may have caught them in the act.Id use it if i did not own an Akita,Akita,s are not fool proof yet they react instantly.Id still use the techno you mentioned its more than worth the outlay and works 24-7,Akitas have to sleep.

A picture message it will send you as far as im aware. I suppose all depending how good the app is on your phone some will let you watch.

Its easy to get another kid,good dogs are far harder to source. .

A good STABLE trained protection dog shouldnt mess with your kids. Especially if they grow up together. The dog should be more protective over the kids. And if your gonna get a security system make sure you get really good camera's not half ass ones..

Would it be a problem with false negatives ? Would you be out checking every other hour when a mouse or other animal sets the sensor off? . My friend installs cameras that can be watched on your phone at any time . Think you need internet signal on your phone tho . I will ask him if they do motion sensor ones
