arcticgun 4,548
Haye always looked good and has the technical skills when he was at his peak, but got found wanting when the big events came,, for me it's real heart he lacks, when going gets tough he just couldn't pull it out the bag, now he over the hill I think AJ would be far too powerful and in his face once inbcthe ring for Haye too deal with, he didn't fancy Tyson Fury back even retired citing career ending injury being the cause ? Sure he makes all the right noises wanting too fight AJ or get any title he can get his hands on, maybe he thinks it be easier without Fury about? Can't see it meself though, if he really serious about winning it again why side line with a fight against Bellew? Why not step up the quality of his opposition, he chats AJ fought nobody but look at his last two opponents ffs, think he after money pure n simple but fair play too him but when he meets AJ he finished too big too strong too direct for Haye too deal with think he end up knocked out, the klitscho fight be a good guide cos he can fight and is well respected technically but I reckon AJ be too much for klitscho nowadays, think Tyson Fury likely be the most awakened opponent for him if he comes back
arcticgun 4,548
Bugloni was the star of the night for me class pure n simple real guts n determination, great fight for both lads ? fair play too whyte n chisora great scrap but whyte should of been a lot fitter for younger contender, chisora I can't fault he getting on had a few loses took a lot of punches but still his desire is strong proper warrior had him winning by a round or two personally ? Rematch whyte should up his game prep wise needs a descive win

antg 1,787
as said above Hay is a good technical fighter but lacks in the old ticker to me. if he was a dog he would be a cull.

MickC 1,825
Joshua has done well but relies too much on raw brute power and strength at the expense of movement and dare I say it ring IQ,and on top of all this he is too predictable.Joshua is still going at fighters in straight lines relying on his power to get the opposing fighter to where he wants them.Haye certainly has the power, movement and ability to beat Joshua but like already said it depends on his frame of mind at the time,if hes up for it Joshua would be beaten. Its the same with Wlad he sees the same things as Haye and is chomping at the bit to get him in the ring and expose them before anybody else does. looking forward to these Heavyweight fights and others just to see who prevails and how it all pans out over the next eighteen months.

MIK 4,763
No body on here knows what AJ can do as he has never really been tested in the ring ....and no body knows if Haye is any where near as good as he was ...has the makings of a good fight as styles make fights.... imo why should Haye get the fight surely after taking the Bellow fight surely he is behind Wylder, Ortiz ,and Parker ...but saying that if Haye is as good as he was he will be the one to give AJ the test ...Lets hope 2017 some of these top name actually fight each other ...
pesky1972 5,361
Can't see Haye fighting AJ ever unless he becomes mandatory, which means he'll need to fight better quality opponents than he has been. When he came back he said exactly that, he'd battle his way up the rankings.., and so he fights a cruiser ? Truth is that Hearn has thrown him a bone. The only way Haye fights AJ is if Hearn thinks it's a good earner.., and me personally, I'm not interested in paying £16.95 to give Haye a pension..., not unless he fights a ranked heavyweight first to prove he's a worthy challenger. MickC 1,825
Haye is the mandatory challenger to fight Joe Parker next the new WBO Champion,so should Haye win that fight which he should do comfortably and Joshua has to obviously beat Wlad and if both Haye and Joshua do come through there fights that would be two Brits with a version each of a Heavyweight title,Hearn would be falling over himself to get Joshua and Haye in the ring to face each other in a big Stadium fight . I think AJ corner know this as well , so holding him back , to gain more experience in his defence work, your right Gnash Haye prob KO AJ right now if they fight . how do you see Haye against bellew going?, I think Haye will KO him prob 3-4 round Its not age that hurts a fighter its inactivity and by the time he gets in the ring with Bellew Haye will of been out of the ring for nearly 5 years barring a couple of silly nothing fights, nobody knows what he still has left but if he is close to his best he will walk straight in and through Bellew he is just a far superior fighter. Theres things going on with Joshua at the moment that i dont think will benefit him, sometimes you just have to commit to the assets you have he is never going to have the footwork of Muhammad Ali or the head movement of Joe Frazier so you just have to put all your eggs in one basket and hope he has enough of everything else to get by its a mistake trying to create a great all round fighter without a big chunk of talent to go with it which i personally dont think Joshua has......look how far fighters like George Foreman got on power alone i believe Joshua has enough basic brute force and tenacity to get through anyone out there at this moment......but trying to refine him into an allrounder at this stage i think might be his undoing and a peak Haye would be the perfect man to expose that. arcticgun 4,548
It's the inactivity that writes Haye off for me personally, but as has been said if the skills are still there he will test AJ but even at his peak I don't think he would of beaten AJ as he stands now think he simply too big and too strong and schooled too well in the basics for Haye, who was fine when the going was all his way but fell short when it wasn't His last comeback against fury he made all the right noises but I honestly think his arse went when it was right in front of him this third coming has been pathetic two duck eggs dodging Briggs and now fighting bellew instead of concentrating on his goal he sidelined for easy lower lol I'd love too see bellew put an end too it myself lol Klitscho a much better test for AJ imho than anyone else currently as I think he gunna end up ko'd or Tko ? Wilder Parker go the same way imho, my prediction AJ will quit unbeaten unified champ
