AKA-BRINDLE 879
BBBofC are looking into it...so doubt they made the whole fractured eye socket thing up.. A fighter and his team have got to notify them on any medical conditions or injuries before they sign the fight off, no way in hell would an experienced coach send him in with that injury. The coach didnt send him in with that injury...like i said in my original post they obviously didnt realise how bad it was... probably took a knock in sparring which was made worse in the fight...until rustyterrier put this idea in your head that the coach shouldnt of sent him out you was convinced it was all made up demanding to see his doctor!...clearly the lad has a fractured eye socket...of course he not made it up... my point was when ever or however this was done... its going to impair his vision and balance thats why he was pulled out...simple as that...im no big fan of Ogogo...but a bit harsh to write the lad off on his first loss caused through a serious injury
AKA-BRINDLE 879
I understand that a fighter needs to do all he can to have the best career possible for himself but nowadays it's too much about the money and not about the honour. Fighters have too much control in these times, avoiding certain fights, pulling out with little niggles, undeservingly getting title shots, the list goes on. I know these things have happened in the past but today it's beyond a joke. I wish we could go back to having one belt to rule them all and see the best face the best on a constant basis not every 5 year or so... Read the story of Mike Mctigue...like it or not...Boxings always been the same

Rusty didn't put nothing in my head, I don't believe he had an injury before the fight or at any time in the bout as he showed no signs of distress. It's not just the loss, I've never been impressed with him if I'm being honest. Edited October 26, 2016 by DogFox123

DogFox123 1,379
Put it this way, I turned from normal to the elephant man in less than 10 seconds when I did mine and I never had blurred vision or loss of balance.

Basiclly I saw the guy in Kannys pic. It was obvious something was wrong and personally I think his corner were right, same as brooks were, to pull him out before more damage was done. You could see the lad didnt wana pack in but the corner did the right thing. If you think he didnt have an injury during the bout we must have been watching different fights. Folk are suggesting he went into the ring with his eye socket already broken. Nonsense Pretty sure in this thread someone said I dont believe he had an injury before the fight or any time during the bout?

They knew he went in with a fractured eye socket. Pick one and stick to it . You are f****n clueless What i am 'sticking' to as you put it is what has been put in the press by Ogogo's team and the Hearns..."an eye specialist has told them his eye socket is fractured in two places and in the specialist's opinion(obviously hes not an expert like you) the injury was caused before the Cunningham fight started"...not my words its right there on the SkySports news website...so f**k knows why your getting all pissy about it with me...if you got to mouth off like a little kiddie then dont bother replying! So you think a recent broken eye socket would have skipped his mind when asked to disclose his medical condition prior to the fight?
