Francie 6,368
There at it all the time, do you actually trust the BBC?
Tiercel 6,986
Aye loads, all over YouTube, you can't even believe half the things you see on tv these days, especially the American news channels, we're live...... only to be caught out with green screen So you do not trust the TV, but Youtube is all true? You could not make that up. TC

Neal 1,869
Well...I'm impressed by that clip of the lion taking on the giraffe...unless it was made using Weta Workshop miniatures!
DogFox123 1,379
The BBC has used footage that's been on other documentaries, showing footage of a Lion hunt supposedly at night when in fact it was during the daytime.
NEWKID 27,159
I think the at night lion hunt was the elephant?? Still impressive in my book.. That bit of footage of the lions hunting the giraffe looks awesome, the lion just bounces off it as it runs through.... Sorry nothing will change my views on David Attenborough, I wrote to him as a child and he took the time to hand write a letter back to me, absolute legend in my book... and I've loved everything he's done, no matter what "dodges" he has used.. My kids love his stuff too, as do my parents, so there's three generations he has impacted on with regards wildlife...
pesky1972 5,289
Load a shite, most of it computerised or green screen, BBC puppet 'Load a shite' ??? I''ve got no issue if they use a few tricks to put together good sequences of film. I doubt if 'most of it' is 'computerised or green screen' though. The truth of the matter is that no-one does natural history films like Attenborough and the BBC, and this may well be the end of an amazing era.
NEWKID 27,159
the blue planet videography was shot by divers, in the sea filming some of the most amazing underwater footage I've ever seen... No gimmicks, real people, in the water filmain't... that is a fact!! I'd say at least 90% is filmed on location after weeks/months of waiting and wasted filming for the perfect scenario to come around, the polar bear birth was shot in captivity because that was the only way they could get that footage... who cares?? The seal being caught after diving off an ice berg by a nearly starved and desperate polar bear, was in real environment.... bloody amazing!! What a job, I'd give my right nut for that job!!

budharley 945
lol I can see the problem here , it's plain and simple . You Francie are just like my johovus witness good friend Kieth ,Kieth also hates David Attenborough . why does Kieth and francie hate David Attenborough , because David believes in evolution, .
DogFox123 1,379
Something got me thinking whilst watching Harry Potter. If we can artificially alter evolution then shouldn't we be able to create a horse with an eagle's head??? Edited October 15, 2016 by DogFox123
