Jonjon79 13,358
I've been looking forward to trying this out since I got it. It's the Mk II BSA Super 10 that I picked up last week. I've made a switch from .177 pcp to .22 for night hunting. It's had some range time and I checked the 28yrd zero this afternoon. It turns out that it likes JSB RS. I went off to the rugby club for a quick look round and, found a rabbit over by the storage sheds. It was eating grass with its back to me. I kept watching it - as it turned, there was very little eye shine I knew it was just over 30yrds from my side of the fence to the back of the shed where the treeline starts. I took aim at the back of the eye. The pellet hit with a louder smack than I'm used to from my previous .177. The rabbit went straight down without a twitch. First blood for the S10 was bitter sweet - a quick look at the rabbit confirmed Mixy. This is the first case I've seen on my permissions so far. I just hope it's not going to become widespread. 5 Quote Link to post

Atb mate I know mate, I was gutted. I needn't have bothered stalking into it - I reckon I could have just walked over and euthanised it at point blank range. No, nothing's turned up mate. I reckon either our postman or one of the neighbours has had it. I bought a level last week so, all my scopes are on straight now Quote Link to post

I have heard it's easy to double load but, 7 pellets You just have to be aware when cocking - bringing the bolt right back and down indexes the mag. I think I've found the level of interest I was looking for with this old Mk II - it's a nice solid little thing to use 1 Quote Link to post
