John Macnab Challenge

That's the toffs macnab, read that book years ago an me an my mate been trying our own macnab since with the dogs , rabbit , hare, fox , an roe in 24 hours , haha anyone ever done it ?

done it several times, right place and it's easy

yeah it's easy at night,got to be daytime though and the hare given fair law,
Done it several times day n night allways wanted to get a muntjac roe and fallow been very close to doing it aswell getting 2 out of 3 in the bag but never quite managing it.
we get roe and fallow in the same field but no munty

Be a day to remember if your mutt done the 4 , an easy on the lamp ? iv been trying for years an never done it, you done it at night ginger beard ?

go to certain places in Dorset or Somerset and they have all 5 on one field and know of several people that did it a long time ago
the challenge has to up in highlands as you have to stalk the deer .

not having time to shoot all the land i have

 

Poor man.

So much land you don't have time to shoot it all!

 

Mine is being slapdash with my dog's temporary housing arrangements while I sorted out proper chainspots for them after moving house,I went out for half an hour to get a few bits and came back needing 1 less spot.

Not to mention the vets bill for the survivor.

 

I should have gone down the week before I moved in and had it all sorted.

i'm on the devon/somerset/dorset border and i've never seen a chinky or muntjac down here.
