Revamping A Tatty Bsa Lightning Xl

Hi guys got an old bsa lighting xl was wondering if there is someone in South Wales who could tune and tart my old girl up. She's had a hard life but been a real workhorse for me and never let me down. Would love to have her firing as sweet as possible and sort the stock and metal work. Thanks in advance

Mate. Strip the old girl yourself. Bit of a clean, lube her up. She'll be like new.

 

Being 'only' a lightening, its as simple as slipping the stock off. I doubt many would jump at the chance of "cleaning and re lubing" a lightening you see.

Always mate........ There's no greater satisfaction

 

Whether tuning a springer or refinishing a stock, my advice would always be - do a bit of research then get stuck in.

 

Nath and Mac are both top blokes - I'm sure they'll give you all the advice that you need
