Well Gwalchmai I finally got around to reading your article. Top stuff and you should keep them coming.

I also have a personal interest in it as my own lurcher has Harrier on her fathers side.

There's not as much hound in her as there is in big Barney but to watch her hunt you would think it.

To see her hunt a drag, find, hunt ,view ,course and catch her Fox is brilliant.

Recently she got a Fox moving in a field of beet. I seen the fox go left then right. She went left, checked, went right ,found again put him out into a field of grass, coursed him and pulled him down. And me just standing there enjoying the view.

I would definitely have a hound cross again and that Barney sounds like an ideal dog to put over a racey lurcher or greyhound bitch.
