I'd love to do an article on this, but somehow I think that it might not be publishable! The thing is that the whole hare coursing debate is very divisive. On the one hand you have landowners who are

If a law is unjust, biased, unenforceable in its present form then surely the Law should be revoked or at the very least be reformed or redrafted. The United Kingdom has different legislation regardin

There's a new magazine coming out for those who think they're too hard core for the CMW . It's called "YOB DOG and RUNNING AWAY," it's sponsored by SUBARU.

As far as I can see you'd find enough on here to chance your arm writing an article on it , find a topic pack it out a bit and bobs your uncle ?

I'm sure a recent post disscussion off here end up as an article on it

i write for the countrymans weekly from time to time. i find a few articles in there worth the read, sky cat stuff is always on the money , darcy also puts a few good articles in there. just appears everyone is a critic....... there are some cracking accounts of hunting on here from time to time if a few more keen lads penned a couple of articles for publishing then it can only be a good thing. obviously there is only certain things you can write about in this day and age and this is a pity but unfortunately thats the world we live in im afraid

Simple answer is if you dont like it dont buy it, but bear in mind its a pro hunting mag and in this day and age we need all the friends we can get. I know plenty of people that read it but claim to be too hardcore to buy it, kind of get the feeling that applies to a lot of people on this site.

It seems to be very anti poaching and was lurcher not a poachers dog at one time

No never ,poachers all used greyhounds an cast off gun dogs, with guns so I read.

Was reason lurcher was bred to take the greyhound look off the dog when only the gentry were allowed hunt with them.

There's not much else out there bud unfortunately , I always have an interest in dogs and countryside activities so it occupies a few minutes in a newsagent ,

It's the potential of finding something really interesting in it and maybe at my age having seen and done a far bit , the run of the mill stuff leaves me a little disappointed, in fairness it must be difficult to keep it fresh when your just writing to get something out there
