neil cooney 10,416 Posted October 12, 2016 Report Share Posted October 12, 2016 It's the rats urine that is most likely to give your terrier Weils Disease so inoculation is essential. Regarding bites, treat them like all small cuts and keep them clean. If your terrier is likely to meet more than 1 or 2 rats then having an antibiotic on stand by will do no harm. Personally I think 6 months is too young to show a pup a rat but many will disagree. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
