Rolfe 2
I know it has been asked before but can anyone advise me where i can buy 200yrds of (2 and1/4 inch) sheet netting. i dont want 2 inch mesh.........that is the main criteria. i am not particularly worried about the cost as i will pay to get what i want. 15 meshes deep would als be my preffered option. any help would be appreciated. thanks Rolfe Quote Link to post

However,.I would fight shy of using a 'shiny nylon',..4z or 6z in a 2 and a quarter inch mesh... The 2" mesh is the norm in most sheet netting,.and is perfectly adaquate. Of course, you know your own mind,.and its up to you,..but I have found that such a material supplied in a larger size in sheet netting,.CAN sometimes stretch as the rabbits hit it,.just that wee bit TOO much,...if ya get my drift... Whereas, in a 'Spun Nylon' twine,.or even in Hemp,..you can get away with that larger mesh,.coz it doesn't stretch as much. The problem with obtaining spun nylon is that some kind soul is going to have to 'hand knot' it,...yard by yard... When finished though,..such a fabulous,..'long lived' creation realy is a thing of beauty.. All the best to you,.and good hunting,.cheers,.CHALKWARREN... Thanks for that Chalkwarren.........I TAKE YOUR POINT ENTIRELY....i find with the 1/4 or 1/8 th inch bigger mesh the rabbits can force their heads trough to hold them securely by the ears.....just a personal choice i suppose. thank you for taking the time to reply.......i'll give Bryn a ring.......and see if Netrigger gets in touch.
