Ferreting Then Lamping

Had a session over weekend with REW and a pal of ours, we headed out the door at half 6 for the long journey ahead. we aimed to do some tricky warrens that the landowner wanted us to have a good go at, it almost quarry like, steep with lots of lumps and bumps and boulders, now we normally ferret the field round this to dogs, no nets needed, but this particular bit needs nets in order to catch a good few, so off we went with longnet a good amount of purse nets, Mine and REWS 2 lurchers. It was good using nets again as I've not used them in a long time, each warren produced a few bolters, with the ferrets working hard to get them moving, we had a few double bolter's which was exciting to see, dogs were on top of everything predicting which holes the rabbits were gunna exit by which I love to see, one warren in particular rew put his hob down and within a few seconds he had a rabbit practically jump into his arms in the purse net, after the tricky sets we headed of to some we can have a few good runs with dogs to end the session, we ended on 31 and had an enjoyable session in good company, we headed to the local pub after for a good meal and pint before me and REW had a couple hours on the lamp, we had another 30 of a different bit of land, dogs done well and we had a great time, didn't take a pic of the lamping bag as phones and cam were dead, we strolled in half 3 in morning for some well deserved sleep, thanks for looking here's a few pics ?
