Do any of you lads take a first aid kit out with you? For you but mainly for the dogs? What are your essential items for injurys in the fields?

Yes, mainly for dogs though. Sterile saline, gauzes, scissors, tweezers, glue, stapler, dressings, vet wrap, glucose etc. Been caught short a couple of times and now try to always have it with me in the car at least

That pretty much covers mine. Got a big one in the motor and smaller one I keep in my bag when lamping.

This is what I carry in my truck ... a suturing and bleed kit ... iv fluids ... an assortment of bandages and a bottle of salt water with a squeezy top for flushing wounds ........

Butterfly stitches dab each end with super glue, ideal for skin tares. Quicker than stitches and no pain for the dog.
