bird 9,973
Good on him.my lad was born premature and small for his age so we got him kickboxing at 4 he's been going nearly 3 yrs, total confidence builder, teaches them disapline, balance and above all not to be a bully.atb dc20150228_135112_001.jpg Brill that , ive done boxing and karate , weights , when i was younger , and any form of self defence is a massive plus. But i always thought just normal boxing by it self was the best really, you get speed, agility, reflexes , balance strength , and great fitness , my lad does boxing with his football training , and it deff improved his fitness doing the 2 . but anything the young'uns do that a contact sport will deff give them confidence , more so if there a bit on the small side
CushtyJook 1,097
I think all young lads should get into boxing or a combat sport from a young age

Daniel cain 46,109
My Mrs does boxing and mma because she was always picked on growing up.theres a big family live by me 5 sisters couple of boys-they mouthy fuckers and thought they could give the Mrs some shit the oneday-big misake because she dropped the 2 biggest rats with hell of a combo lol-now they all smiles and waves-the one even asked if she could go training with the mrs-who politely told her to f**k off.people who throw thier weight around are normally proper shit houses and crumble when you stand up to them.was always told when young that if I came in crying someone had hit me I'd get a bigger slap off the oldman if I didn't get out there and get stuck into them-atb dc
