Got a first cross pat whippet here 19tts 10 year old now an still as mad as a March hare crackin wee thing for the Ratsin release pens an was a good laugh on the lamp for a small dog

Im so tempted to take litter off half collie half lakie bitch to a full whippet, the collie x terrier have turned oug8 like whippet crosses themselves as the collie was racey from racey lines, so adding whippet would make nice wee mutts i reckon

How they doing now?

Good mate, doing all that was expected of them tbh not heard any complaints, yet lol they will prob start when i throw whippet over father in laws fence when they next break down lol

Get a new pic of them up,not seen one in ages.

Saw a nice little first cross poodle x whippet few days back bout 15" tts woman said "She's a little sod keeps bringing back bunnies when out on walks" !! Really bold little thing not fazed by my lot & ran around field with them. It looked like Gnasher from the Beano. Atb

The miniature poodles quite finely built under the coat,mines 3/4 mini poodle 1/4 lab an she's the same when wet through,though I reckon she's needs more speed I don't think she will catch a rabbit,to be honest I need to get her out more an get her fitter.

If I did ,unless some flyball or agility lot were interested I reckon I'd struggle selling pups,wife would never let me only keep 1 or 2 back.and tbh I don't think I could do it myself.

She has coat,and nose ,intelligant but one I noticed about these designer poodle crosses is they all seem a bit nervy /funny temperment,

She growls sometimes at strangers ,though not done it for a bit,mind she had no socialisation until 16 weeks old, but met a golden doodle other day ,and the owners daughter said it always laid down when another dog approached it, few cocker post as well been nervy.

Anyone used or seen a Plummer X Whippet, i,v thought for a few years now that this cross could be useful, i used to bush & sometimes even lamp with a leggy Plummer i had, a dog with his nose but abit more speed would imo make a good ferreting/mooching companion.

Yeah not to bad looking,in a gay way,lol just tried holding both her an tape measure ,she's roughly 16-18 inches at shoulder, I know she struggles in long grass,can't run through it.gets unsighted very easily.
