Ill Ferret

Hi all. I took my Jill out on Sunday ferreting. The following day when I got home from work she was trying to eat her bed, it was stuck down her throat, once I pulled it out she went floppy. Now she has lost all coordination and she has got yellow lumps on her back legs, a friend of mine told me she caught something while rabbiting. Has anyone one got any ideas?

If she was chewing her bed, she may a partial obstruction. If she's passing thin ribbony stools, that would confirm it. She won't eat or drink, so it needs sorting quickly !

She has eaten and poo but she has no balance. The vet Sao it may be brain damage from not being able to breath properly. They said to go back in 2 days. But I am worried she may of picked something up down the holes, is that a common thing

Well I took to another vet for a second opinion and it turned out to be a spider bite, they gave her some medication and she has made a massive improvement. Still a bit wobbly and she is docking a bit and is having her funny five minutes again.
