Lew 111
Sorry mate but them wooden things the hounds are sleeping in are terrible, think of the draft coming through that fence and the chill they get on them, I know they've been out that day but there's no sparkle or fire in any of there eyes You will get more out them animals with better conditions i like your posts by the way 1 1 Quote Link to post
Shovel shy 4,033
Better conditions? Hang on now for a second.there is nothing wrong wit them apart from being a bit chewed.winter time there full with bedding.them crates are in side kennels that has plenty of warmth and are dry and sheltered through the worst of weather.theyre bone dry.have a look at the condition of the dogs and see if anthing is wrong.first day back scince last season and after a big feed aswell.believe me I look after them dogs 9 Quote Link to post
Shovel shy 4,033
The harrier n walsh hound are bigger than your standard beagle and find it harder this tine of year to push on in thick cover.maybe there more tired haha. 1 Quote Link to post
Apache... 2,588
You can feel each morning getting cooler now, I was out early in the rain Sunday had a 6 inch dig purely by accident with a young bitch in a hedge she failed miserably, I had my doubts with her, hope it stays cool.
