there good dj and thats a good price

check the parallax though i had a pricy mtc that was a nightmare to get right and unless you got it bang on it resulted in misses!

chopped it in for a hawke vantage s/f and its way more forgiving

other way round for me Si,

got a panorama and a hd sport that i just cannot get on with the eye releif, head keeps hunting back and forth for the best sight pic lol

 

hopefully this one will suit me better

I looked at the Mamba before buying the Genesis 5-20x50 and found it to be a nice scope with good glass. Only went the Genesis route because the scope had been in stock a while and the price was not to be missed. £100 for a mamba sounds a decent price, judging by the prices the guys on AGF sell them at and even better if it comes with mounts.

 

Talking of mounts, I had some issues with my hawke mounts that I used on the genesis. Zero at 25mts spot on, take it out to 60mts, 4'' to the left. Turned out to be the mounts, seamaster put me onto BKL mounts, bloody superb so now in the process of bit by bit changing all guns to BKL, not cheap but very good and self centering.

yeah scopes defiantly suit different ppl dj

i was gutted when i bought the mtc cos i just couldn't get on with it...same as you,i was always hunting back n forth rec was way to fine for me

I've bought one like a mate had... his was ace and mine wouldn't hold zero!!

its a bit of a lottery scope shopping

They're good scoped DJ, I also like the SCB ret. I did find that the Vipers worked better for me.

 

But, I sold the Viper and bought a Hawke Airmax with AMX ret and, I haven't looked back since

Great scope and the right money, if you don't get on with it you will always get your money back mate; the mamba in scb rectical in my opinion is the 1 to have: I do like the 4-16x50 the best.

You got a very good price there mate. I wont use any other scope than a Mamba ( scb reticule, xmas tree)

I also use Sports Match mounts, " They don't `alf clamp on "

I loved my Hawke Varmint and when I put the Genesis on, the reticle is very fine and struggled a bit at first but now love it.
