Plucky1 1,119
Sounds like Wilf is doing well Plucky! Having same problems with the weather and also seeing some big lumps of foxes! Must be a lot of grub about. Out tomorrow but weather is still not right!! Yes mate, there's been a decent population of rabbits on there since spring and a month or so back myxie hit it big time so there is plenty of easy food about, I have had some mangy old vixens though with hardly any brush just to keep it real,"Wilf's" not waiting to be invited in like my bitches do,he just follows straight in so you have to be quick on the job with either gun or nets, WM Quote Link to post
Haiddheliwr 1,911
Haven't come across any mangy ones YET lol all in superb condition. Lot of rabbits down here most I have seen. Tucking the horses up for bed and the terrier was having a whale of a time chasing lol. Hope scent is good tomorrow!! ATB 1 Quote Link to post

C.green 3,231
I have had a decent start to my season this year with more fox in a month than I had in most of the last, I bushed a large dog fox into a 40ft drain yesterday, used my dog Wilf to force a bolt and finish,he looked tiny by comparison to the fox, that's 3 over 20lb in a few days, that makes 7 this month,Wilf is only 2yrs old and I have really ramped up his work to ground but the weather is still so mild and most are being forced from cover into earths or drains, let's hope for some bad weather to get them down, WM Well done plucky that's good going 3 foxes over 20lb aswell must be eating well I allways try to guess the wieght of them can surprise you when there on the scales 1 Quote Link to post
