Drones

Recommended Posts

Just been up the coast road past the MOD place and they've got the drones out in force today. They all look the same to me, but i saw black ones, white ones and purple ones. Is there a significance to the colours? :hmm: Be a bit of a giveaway to possible enemy forces if there was.

You on about the base at Aberporth Dai? If so it's an R&D centre not an operational base. They will be testing new systems and stuff, not training using operational aircraft.

Yeah Aberporth. I know they weren't blowing up fishermen.

I just thought all drones were grey. Perhaps they painted them different colours to tell them apart.

Lots of companies use the base for flight tests, events and demonstrations was what I was getting at pal. Not much use demonstrating a new aircraft to a potential buyer if they can't see the thing once it's up in the air!
