to be honest mate unless you get another autopsy done by another vet there's not much you can prove as it will be there vets word against yours . I no its not nicest thing to do but I would froze the bitch till you could get her to a vets and have a autopsy that way you got proof of what's happend

The vets would have x-rays or statements as to the damage on the dog, what was the explanation for putting her to sleep ?? have you complained to the police ?? there must of been injuries to the dog to explain their course of action, I would have to go back and have it explained properly and exactly what was the cause, try to remain calm in the vets or they will get away with it, it will be difficult controlling your anger but to get the right outcome you will have to do it by the book, ask to see any evidence,x-rays,etc, do not make any threats and take a 3rd party witness,preferably someone of note or importance, any legal action will be costly so try the easy way first, good luck, WM
