kennymc 21
Ive recently bought a pedigree Whippet pup to show at kennel club shows and also to take with me to the working terrier & Leacher shows when I show my Borders. Any of you lads used/using pedigree Whippets for coursing hares, what were they like, do you think they manage ok in big open fields. Ive used Saluki crosses many moons ago and seen Greyhound x Whippets run but I've never seen a pedigree Whippet course. 15 Quote Link to post

Somewhereyournot 1,117
The kc registered whippets are the ones with the coursing blood in them. There's a few lads catching rabbits and daytime hares with theirs still mate. I was surprised at a few lads whippets to be fair. Lovely pup and all the best 3 Quote Link to post
