Bull lurcher babe 35
Theres some really good dog beds, i forget what the are called but i will look it up and get back to you. My dogs, former bed shredders every one, each have one and they are nice and padded but very tooth and claw resistant. They were expensive but ive only ever had to buy them one each so it's cost effective in the long run 1 Quote Link to post

king 11,972
When you come down in the morning to the dog with shredded bedding talk to him and embarress him.:whats that, whats that, pointing to the shredded bedding hold some of it up infront of him and he will soon give you a sulking look while dropping his head. Dont shout or raise your voice. And dont hit the dog. Ignore him for a few hours dont even look at him. He will sence your unhappy. Dont give him any bedding the next night. Leave him sleep on a bare bed or cage. The following night put something small in as bedding like a tea towel small rag. When you come back down the following morning as long as he aint shredded the bedding praise him then spread out the rag in his bed and keep praising him.letting him see you making his bed. As long as he doesent shred the bedding over the next few days add bigger and bigger bedding working upto a quilt or what ever you want to give him as his bedding. Patience Paitence No raised voice. Ive had dogs smashing the plastic trays in cages into little bits. Give it time and you will sort it. 1 Quote Link to post
