gnasher16 30,470
Investigative journo,s defend entrapment by saying its in the public interest to expose those in positions of power......they would say if it wasnt for them the likes of Lance Armstrong would still be cutting about doing what he did unchallenged.......but to the normal man in the street its not a nice thing and part of me thinks Allardyce has been hard done by as there will be loads of managers getting back handers for similar things but i still say as the man in the most powerful position in English football you have to be a bit cuter than that so ultimately he probably did get what he deserved......China or the Yanks is his only option now. Exactly, the likes of Armstrong are nothing but scapegoats. If you're going to expose corruption make sure you get them all instead of exposing a select few.... Thats how power works though mate.....nobody was interested in exposing the bloke up the road as a paedo......but Jimmy Saville....what a catch......was Saville just a scapegoat ?......ok probably a bad example but you get my drift with power comes responsibility and some folk just aint got the nouse for it. delswal 3,819
He's obviously a capable manager he just seems negative in everything he says. Even looks a miserable sort . Capable Max? What's he won as a manager? Charity shield when he took over at man utd, another manager got him there and left him a team to win it, He got Preston promoted as champions from div 2 sometime in the 90's I think, and got Everton to a cup final. He was sacked twice before landing the Sunderland job, Sunderland will sack him before Xmas, if they want to survive the sooner they do it the better. bringing Sam back won't be the worst move Sunderland have made for a long time, he might just keep you up. JDHUNTING 1,817
Personally I think he's been a little hard done to I don't understand the point if appointing a man like S.A who everyone knows has a big gob chases the £ and bends the rules then sacking him for doing just that, to put it in a hunting analogy it's like getting a lurcher then getting shut because it chased a rabbit. As for sympathy well he won't get that from me there's plenty get sacked and have to worry bout paying the mortgage and putting food on the table and Sam don't have those worries £1m for 71 days is good business I'll bet he doesn't really give a f*ck. P.s the the ott hatred by some to a bloke they don't know whose just an old school fairly hsrmless football type is a bit creepy imo

blackmaggie 3,377
Given time max I'm sure he will see you right at man u he wasn't given time that said I believe there was only a couple of managers that could of took over from fergie as most of them players had won more in a season than moyses had in his career that said the team that won the title in fergies last season was the poorest team he had
