DogFox123 1,379
I guess all they say now when busted is they use for medical grounds, bullshit. Next we will hear Fury say he took Nandrolone to combat his depression....
Born Hunter 17,809
There's just a little bit of difference between being given the okay by the authorities to take a prohibited substance for health reasons and illegally taking a prohibited substance! LOL People read 'steroid' and immediately think roid-head. It's just not the case. He's done feck all wrong from what I can see.
Nik_B 3,790
Funny how half our Olympians are 'asthmatic'. I'm asthmatic it's a sh*t disease and causes you to have a worse lung capacity...it's also probably easy to fake just put a weeze on and they'll sign it off as asthma...doctors get more money for having asthmatics on their books same with diabetics I think the steroid Wiggins was given wasn't the ones in the pumps but a pill u take when you get a chest infection...let's just was the last time I was on them I decorated my entire hall and landing in 2 days ha ha! Like another cyclist said, he must have a very severe case of asthma to need injections of this strength. Apparently it would be like using a sledge hammer to crack a not

I'll leave that attitude to the yanks. He was given the nod by the authorities. It's completely different to what the likes of Fury is going through. If in the future the rules are changed then so be it but he has played by the rules.

Blackbriar 8,569
The speculation about Wiggo is more about the timings of the steroid injections - just before two Tours and a Giro. And why not before 2011 or after 2013 ? He met all the requirements to receive the drug, but WHEN he had them looks a bit suspicious.......
bird 9,978
I don't know if this means anything but theirs a asthma pump that has steroids UN it i use just a normal inhaler for (c/o/p/d) its got steroid in it. the inhaler supposed to open the air ways , to get more oxygen to the lungs . ive stopped smoking 25 years ago, but scared my lungs from the feckin habit. ive just started biking and doing about 55 mile a week, it when i going up hills that i struggle getting my breath . so can understand wiggins using somthing to combat hills etc biking . i am just leisure cyclist and i get fecked with my lungs, so him being a pro , he need his lungs in the best condition as possible , and a jab, or inhaler to help him breather proper when his lungs are struggling to work proper , i dont blame him.But it does sound like he used them for 2 reasons, one for the above and one to help him win, but you carnt perform to you highest level in that sport if something wrong with your body to start with, and reading he as had asthma before he took the sport up, some pro footballers use them as well
