mattyg 1,862
Got a dog here (6) and over the past few weeks he has dislocated his front outside toe(left foot). I pop it straight back in but obviously this ain't ideal, I'll be going to see my vet and probably go to see rob meek aswell but was just wondering on your opinions.....amputation maybe? Matt amputation would be the last choice for me, dogs can manage ok with toes took off , but it can put more stress on the existing toes on the foot .So would see a greyhound man 1st, then vet . my dog Buck broke his toe out side toe back foot , last year he runs ok catches ok with it. but have noticed when he just jogging along he dos hold it out a bit, it might be just a habit he got in to when he was not running about useing it, when he goes flat out you catnt tell any difference with either toe . are you still working the dog ? 6 not old but maybe start another younger dog.Bryn 9 now just mooch about with him now Buck 4 he my main working dog when i work him . mattyg 1,862
Been to see Robert meek and he said it'll set in time, and I just need to tape it to the other toe if I take him out. Matt
