gnipper 6,564 Posted September 25, 2016 Report Share Posted September 25, 2016 Now I've got the ferrets in a court with just a sleeping box I thought I'd try them on a piece of vet bed I've got knocking about rather than messing with shavings and straw but within 5 minutes the hob had one of his nails caught in the fleece and was rolling around screaming his head off. I thought they were fighting at first. It might have just been a one off but they're back on straw now, just thought I'd warn anyone thinking of using that type of stuff to keep an eye on them. 1 Quote Link to post

The one 8,513 Posted September 27, 2016 Report Share Posted September 27, 2016 I put in a plastic storage box cut the front down filled it with shaving for the jills they emptied the shavings out and sleep in the corner of the hutch and lid the box up to see whats under it and let it bang back down , when they first did it i heard the noise and thought wtf Quote Link to post
