Why would you want digging dogs breed in to bushing dogs.defeats the purpose you will be out bushing and get stuck digging for the day.bushing dogs for bushing digging dogs for digging.simple really.i think a terrier hunting abilty is a lot more important for bushing dogs.most digging terriers never done a days bushing

Terriers were bred to be multi-purpose,all the time,all terriers were initially bred to serve more than 1,2,3 or even 5 purposes.Its modern terrierfolk and second rate terrier work that restricts a terriers work ethic.Kennel em,take em out on a leash and enter them,dig to em,extract em and put them back on a leash and back into the kennel.Terriers were bred to bush and fecking enter,its in the name.Now they are bred to shit in a kennel and be dug to,taken out to bush and scared to enter,earn a ribbon and sell a litter.I expect mine to bush to the same standards that they work below,i want them to bolt and not be dug to,i expect to dig if a bolt is not on,i expect a terrier to work like a terrier.It boils my urine when terrierfolk encourage a terrier to work and be bred to a standard that does nothing to befit the monicur,its a fecking terrier not a one dimensional cull.

i agree with what your saying terrier should be able hunt flush and dig.but you said it yourself todays digging terriers are put from kennel to quad to burrow back to kennel and never see a proper days hunting cover.this man has breed his dogs to work on top and theres noting wrong with that either and if theres 20 years of breeding gone in to these dogs to hunt on top there hunting abilty should be very good.and better than most digging lines for top work.

I never said it,the only thing ill ever say with terriers is the fact that they should graft like a terrier was always bred to do,i deplore the fact that most terrierfolk wish to take a mutt out of a kennel on a leash and release it at a dig,thats F.at Black Fell breeding in one sentence.I work my terriers,i don,t restrict my terriers work.If i bred a terrier after 1 generation to baulk at an hole id do the decent thing and become a KC judge.

The guy is selling them as a PACK . for bushing and maybe flushing. He don't want his dogs going to ground and spoiling his day.

 

He says there's a lot of years breeding gone into this pack to suit the type of hunting he does, and he's confident that they will do what he's says by giving a months trial. ( cant ask for more than that ) A lot of peoples permission has many badgers on them or foxes, the terriers would be forever going to ground. This guy says his pack doesn't .
