Welsh_red 4,645
I've always feel like that in most cities! In wales a child can fall over and anyone will pick them up...in england the men wont even look at the child or help because they're scared people will say something..... I've not even moved in to our village yet but I know more people that i do after 13 years here A guy and his wife came down here looking to run a pub . He was from eastbourne ( i know not a vast metropolis ) . He came down for a few weekends while looking at a pub around here and staye din a local b&b . The first thing he said he noticed when down here for the weekends was when he walked from the b&b to the newpaper shop which was a 10 min walk everybody would say hello or nod the head . He was a well built guy who worked the doors in eastbourne . On first glance he looked a dangerous bloke but still people said hello . . He loved it down here . It might be a welsh thing or it might be countrywide thing with small villages but he fell in love with the place . Unfortunatly him and his mrs split and hes moved back to eastbourne where he cant stand it any more . He wants back down here

Some places in Wales are dodgy just like some places in England. I have never felt intimidated anywhere in the UK and I know the people I live around. Over dramatisation.

Did you see the video of the white girl getting bashed up by 5 blacks? It just knocks u sick See it?.....mate when I was a kid I used to live amongst it........then I moved out to Essex and that was fine until the last ten years........then they moved them all down there and it's going down the khazi too. Well apparently you should thank your masters for the enrichment they've bestowed upon you...or something like that......HMRC will be noticing a black hole cos I'm done funding them

Silversnake 1,099
I am sure someone will have some statistics to show people are happier, wealthier, crime is lower, etc and you are a bigot and a racist for complaining.

It's running alive with spades who think they have just stepped out of south central LA and pakis and Eastern Europeans who need a good f***ing wash. That's not my people, or yours I reckon......the markets are gone, lots of the characters are gone and it ain't coming back pal. Bollocks to England, enjoy the sunshine Edited September 25, 2016 by WILF
gnasher16 30,121
You was out of Deptford if i remember right Wilf......was it ever any different ?......ok the euro,s are a new outfit but the joe dakies and the darkies were always around they aint our people now and they wasnt back then.....yes a lot has changed but what draws me back to the manor is what kept me there in the first place i could of done a bolt years ago but its the savage rawness and general brutality of the area that i actually miss ......i guess its a different feeling entirely when you have options the hunger and desire isnt the same but where i come back to now i see it as eating a gourmet meal in Sids Café ......theres still a lot i love and admire about the old place though for me this Olympic Stadium caper was the final nail in the coffin they might as well of cut my legs off ! I,ll always feel the pull of the east end and know i,ll never fully commit to a foreign land but like you say the sunshine and general niceness makes it a lot easier to cope with Englands changes. WILF 46,851
No, it's not much different in the make up I suppose.....but the attitudes definitely are in my opinion mate. All the old London lads are either dead or f****d off to the leafy suburbs.......it's probably a change in me, but I f***ing hate the aggression, noise, bad f***ing manners and business of it all now. Every c**ts an import, they are handing me out parking tickets or serving me coffee it laying about some tube station and speaking to me like shit.......I am angry all the time myself when I am there !! Lol You can't spend your whole life asking darky traffic warden down and ally for a straightener all the time or having a row with cozzers cause you are causing a scene.......it gets you down ! Lol We are different that way I have to admit, I don't miss it one little bit.......I have to come back for a few weeks next month and I am dreading it.
gnasher16 30,121
No i get what your saying mate in many ways your right, likewise i havent got the same energy or hunger i once had and that can be tricky in certain situations i just try to avoid those situations that much more i suppose.......i cant lie ego probably plays a part for myself and a few likeminded pals ive known donkeys years its probably a similar feeling to going back to show your old school teachers who said you would never amount to anything that you did ok in life ....i guess theres plenty of nasty rough manors to plot up at when the urge arises.....but this was my one and for better or worse it will always be part of me im afraid.
