A mate of mine is after a beddy whippet grey pup and asked what I think of these? They all look healthy and well looked after? ginger beard 4,653 Posted September 23, 2016 Report Share Posted September 23, 2016 Cheers ginger beard what do I look out far as its my first pup and don't want to be fobbed off Take somebody with you that has some idea about lurchers mate ......... when i went to get my 1st lurcher.i picked a pup which looked absolutley fine to me.it wasn't untill i got him back to mine and let him have a run up the garden something wasn't right but i just thought it was a gangly deer/grey pup.took to the vets for the jabs and the vet said it had a broken hip.p.t.s.there.really don't have much luck with lurchers.
