Commands, Signs and Signals, and tricks

Recommended Posts

Thanks Juckler 123  I will try and get the send back started in the way you describe next time she catches- its the only time she is sufficiently interested to carry anything - she'll just ignore a dummy or long dead rabbit. Would be fantastic if I could get her retrieving shot game too. I think we have the send on sorted to a degree, but it would be good to get her to understand what direction I want her to go in a bit better. Suppose I' m expecting a bit much to try and direct a ten year old coursing dog around a field like an obedience dog!

i knew my hounds were missing something :D the don't generaly care if they are making me happy. the commands my dogs learn are. hey,as in what ever shit your up to knock it off! gets used alot. load up. means get in,on ,kennel or enter. come on , a loose heel for multiple dogs. sit. hold still. as in i'm trying to play vet and moving isn't helping. where is it? means i'm looking at a track and you should be finding what made it. and get back! means you found it and i'm either going to shoot it or don't want it torn up any more. then i have wistles for here and changeing direction. and feel blessed when they all listen
