good clips of cloud. how old now ?. i could also benefit from a how to as ive only ever had one decent retriever out of four. and i'm never to old to learn. striking looking pup as well

Not at all she is only 4 months old and this is just the start of her retrieve training ... For now I am happy that she will hunt the cover find and retrieve ... The polishing and fine detail will come later on down the line as she gets older .......

Guys I can only just put a post up let alone a step by step guide on how I do things ... I look at every pup/dog differently and tailor their training to the particular animal ... This pup is really quite a serious little thing and to get her to the state of enjoying herself to play with me is a page worth of writing alone before I could even begin to go through the phases I use to get her to want to dive into cover over her head to bring me back a dummy ... I'm not really a writer fellas sorry ........

only asking as my pup 6 month old and sometimes gives me it sometimes drops it. I play tug but that hasn't changed much I don't think. The main thing is he brings it right to me I suppose. She looks a lively little thing

Teach the dog to hold and carry the dummy that way it will be less likely to just drop it at your feet ........
