Philippines War On Drugs

Recommended Posts

The president has urged police and civilians to just kill drug dealers.......they have small groups of civilians hit squads, lots of them women who are getting paid to do the job.

I think it's a brilliant idea.......2000 levelled out already since June and more running scared.

That's how you tackle a crystal meth problem !

Apparently if the police catch you just doing drugs you have to sign a form saying that if they catch you again they're aloud to kill you .

I would imagine it's open to a lot of corruption though can you imagine they shoot some innocent person they'd just say he was a drug dealer .

I spent some of my reckless youth in countries with seriously harsh penalties including death sentences for drug possession and it never really effected my behaviour at all. You never think you'll be the one to get caught.

No beacuse people are still doing it over there same with country's like Malaysia drug smugglers are often forced or people who don't have a cue yet take the harsh death penalty when the real if players are no where to be seen i don't do drugs but if someone wants to its up to them it's no different to smoking and alcohol the only difference is they kill more people but you could say that's beacuse they are legal

Aye they could do with getting their priorities in order....

MANILA, Philippines - Every 53 minutes, a woman or a child is raped, with seven in 10 victims of rape being children. Every 16 minutes, a woman is battered.

This is the plight of women and children in the country, according to a study by the Center for Womens Resources (CWR), a research and training institution for women.

The study also found that victims are getting younger and the numbers are rising.

Here's a better idea. Just let the weak minded fuckers kill themselves, stop supporting them, stop fighting them and turn away from this government directed anarchism as a solution.

In fairness, that country is all kinds of f****d up. No one simple solution. But I'm of the opinion when policy fails so badly that there is state supported vigilantism then the state has no place legislating against such things in the first place.

The dealers are just a product of market demand. If you start shooting them then you're just freeing up market share for a bigger badder smarter dealer. Seeing as the government seem to have absolutely no control of their country it's very much a society where big bad ballsy men thrive.

Shoot the addicts that are harming those around them and the dealers will be out of business. That'd be putting the responsibility squarely where it belongs! Addicts that aren't harming anybody have a right to do whatever they want to their own bodies.

The only real solution to these societal problems is educating people, particularly children as to the consequences of drug use.

That's not to say I wouldn't happily burn drug dealers at the stake to satisfy my own hatred, I just don't think a government that allows the masses to become the judiciary is in anyway shape or form an actual government. It's a total failure, it's the absence of government! The entire point in a government is to protect your liberty and a just society. Allowing anarchism is pretty much the total opposite of that.
