One I had in the mid nineties ....A big strong terrier that was an out and out fox slayer when he could get to them ....was too big for a lot of spots ...I wish I still had this dog as I made a lot of mistakes with him but we were all young once

nice dog, that's a proper Russell type, dumpy legs built like a tank.

Id like a russell from ground dogs but cannot find any . Ive never really had much luck with russells .. I heard a chap called Joe smith keeps a good russell but hard to get one off him ?

I have a first cross pit bull/Russell bitch very big bitch but its supprising where she can get up I put a real hard little pat over her today there's still a few about they pretty much do the same job as the pat/fells its just down to personal preference I like colored terriers I also have a staff russell bitch pup untried yet and a few russells with a drop of bull blood in them.

Seems to be a real shortage in russells from digging stock full stop same as you I'd like one I've always had a Russell since I was a kid but none for digging

Yea dont no why thats not coming up dogs are not all mine few of us hunt together.
