Does anyone know anyone that uses full greyhounds for lamping? If ye do post pics of them below

I ran a greyhound bitch last season, opened my eyes to a lot of things. IMO they are underestimated and add a lot more to lurcher breeding than people them credit for.

Nice birch fields port is that the bitch you bred from? I always like the 3/4 crosses and what they are about. But they wouldn't last to long near me to many bad fences gates ditches. Lost a 1/4 bull bitch and 1/4 wheaten dog in the same season, although I have always fancied a pure greyhound for work. My mates have had them few years back for the intention of breeding but they never lasted more than a seasons work.

Yes was bitch I bred from, put my collie bull lurchers over her. Some of the ground round here the same. On some ground I run on, in places, you might only get 100yrds or 2\3 bends before stuff hits cover again, need a doer not a thinker to catch.

I would only use a greyhound for a base in lurchers and all lurchers owe an incredible amount to the grey, trouble is they are not the most responsive of dogs and are so driven will do themselves in but f**k me those things can move they really are an athlete
