She gets 3lb of meat a day and would eat more. Lol

Bloodyel no wonder then, you must get through some meat..

7lb of meat a day or 7 chicken carcass a day depending which they have. Lurchers get a handful of complete with the meat. Plus 6 tins of mackerel, 12 eggs, 3 racks of lamb ribs and 500ml cod liver oil per week.

Dogs cost more to feed than me. Lol

If i come back as a dog in my next life i want you to be my owner.

f**k me my big lurcher only has 2 pound a day gaz you think maybe your over feeding? Have you used the barf calculator my big dog 40kg and he needs 850grams meat a day to maintain his current weight adjust to lower or hight weight

Them calculators aren't much cop. I feed by eye. The calculator doesn't know how many calories the dog is burning.

 

Less than 2lb of meat for a dog 90lb in weight? You must feed something else surely?

 

My 3 are 40lb and all get more than that.

I will adjust her food accordingly mate over the coming weeks. Just wanted to bang plenty in her with her going from doing very little excersise to doing a lot.

 

She's the same weight as the lurchers though bare in mind, and does a lot more work.

700grams in mince chicken and hand full of dry mix hes in perfect shape ..you be suprised how small his feeds are

How tall is that big dog? He doesn't look nowhere near 40kg. But then I suppose my red bitch looks a lot heavier than 20kg. Can't tell a lot from photos I don't think.
