Pup Update

Went for a walk with my pup and her half sister yesterday, there is about 3/4 months between them but her half sister is pretty much the same size allready :icon_eek: I think my pup is going to be a small 'un :D Anyway, she is shaping up ok, speed isnt going to be very fast but everything else is there, nose, drive, stamina etc etc just have to give her some time to mature, try her out, and see how it goes.

She has an unusual habit of standing on her hind legs if she gets excited anyone else had a pup that does this?

Shes about 21" Lamps, I hoped she would have been a bit faster, but tbh she is just a smidgeon faster than her mother was at that age, and nowhere near as mature. She has went to the saluki and collie so I have got myself an odd mixture :D I will give her a chance or two though as she has shown she has a very good nose and lots of stamina which is 2 qualities I rate as being important in a working dog

How is Donna doing? She looks great in that pic you posted, I showed it to my mate and he said no way is that bitch out of Casper she has a neck and is too good looking

Donnas amazed me if im honest,..i had worries about her speed like yourself with yours, but if she does lack a little she makes up for it with her 100% effort. Her nose is good and she always finding game, even at places that dont hold much which speaks for itself realy.

Shes come on leaps and bounds with her lamping, which if im honest i had the most doubts about with her. This season though she catching what id expect her to, so im pleased with that. Ive ran her hard and her stamina is good.

Ive had her out ferreting, and shell mark warrens well enough. If i shoot anything shell pick it and retrieve for me.

Shes even managed a few retrieves on a few big rabbits which is always nice to see. :)

Cant complain realy....A honest little dog

a few pics for ya..
