rob190364 2,594
"The ban on hunting foxes and other wild animals with dogs..." Is there any wonder some people think all hunting with dogs is banned and challenge people who are hunting within the law? Piss poor journalism! On the main point, I personally would be amazed it the repeal actually happened, fingers crossed though! However, I wouldn't hold your breath. 5 Quote Link to post
desertbred 5,490
Now is the time to get a sustained pressure campaign going e-mailing Mp.s, political groups and parties , and relevant country activity groups to combat the Lacs and antis continuous pressure to not only enforce the Ban but also widen its scope to encompass other yet untouched pastimes. This could be the last chance to remove this repressive draconian legislation. The Scots lads should also pressure the SNP to abstain from voting on the repeal in the English parliament as Sturgeon has already made clear her intention.. 10 Quote Link to post

Born Hunter 17,763
it needs ms may to do a tony and just scrap it with the parliment act same as it was put in place with The Parliament Act does not have that power. If this vote happens, it is simply the government holding good on their promise to hold a free vote. Very strong chance the vote will go against us and that's our lot! This would be THE last chance but it's a fecking slim chance. 1 Quote Link to post
twelsh 345
Never get lifted suprised if it does but we just hunt within the law and get on with it 1 Quote Link to post
Silversnake 1,099
Fight hard lads, a slim chance is better than no chance at all and you just never know the ban could be a distant memory that slowly fades away until it is like it never really happened at all... I would take action and rally as many supporters as possible and say NOTHING to those who support the ban other than to boost their confidence that the ban will never be lifted. Ambush them and then protect your rights as fiercely as possible. GOOD LUCK! 4 Quote Link to post
3175darren 1,100
Let's hope both sides get equal representation in the press leading up to it, not just the bigoted BBC 's views, and while there at it lift the restrictions around badgers, and save the country some money, 4 Quote Link to post
