I do like this 97. I find it comfy to hold and shoulder. Before, it was accurate but, I could feel the sharpness of the recoil through the cheek rest and right into my face. Now, that sharpness has gone, the whole rifle feels and sounds smoother. Everything from the safety release button to the cocking stroke and the firing cycle feels a lot nicer. Again, Thank you Davy. It's funny, after a bit of fettling I'm more likely to take out my old Lightning than other guns in the cabinet - guess there's a bit more of a sense of ownership/connection!
