Out Tonight

Recommended Posts

I have come to the conclusion that waiting for the perfect lamping night is like waiting for the right woman THEY DONT EXIST !!

Anyone tell me I am wrong

You aint totally wrong mate lol. For me, the right lamping conditions don't have to be perfect, but using a bit of common sense and a bit of weather knowledge goes a long way to improving the amount you see, and the amount you'll catch. Going out when there's still a fair amount of moon either waxing or waning and not too much in the way of wind, is mostly a futile waste of time and effort, and as dodger and a couple of others have said, you'll just be wising stuff up, pretty smartish, therefore making em all the harder to catch. Wait a few nights til the weather is more favourable, doesn't have to be perfect, and you'll add to the chances of success for yourself, and more importantly, the dog. Keep going when conditions aren't in your favour, and you'll frustrate yourself and your dog.

Anyway, f**k lamping
