It's A Funny Ol' Thing.

Two days back i was driving to the vets (old lurcher bitch had to be pts) and there was a collared dove in the middle of the road which i had to drive around. Anyway 20 mins later driving back all choked up and fighting back the tears it was still there waiting to be squashed so pulled up, got out, picked it up to put it on the roadside out of the way... and the bloody thing took off out of my hands!

 

Give me a smile on a sad day that did.

i recon pts my old springer last year was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do!

miss him like hell but can't bring myself to get another, still expect him to come running when i get home:(

I hand reared a young rabbit from a few days old that i found at a burrow were someone was ferreting and kept it as a pet.

Nice one JJ hunting is a sport whether its with a gun,dogs or ferrets and so on
