JDHUNTING 1,817
Must admit i do sometimes wonder if many of the people with these big strong " lets bash God " views are actually quite as sure as they make out.....29 pages this topic has gone so far and its predominantly people totally convinced there is no such thing as God who are posting on it.....i mean if someone started a subject on here saying Elvis was alive and well stacking shelves in their local Tescos im not sure id even bother getting into a debate about it as im pretty sure he,s not......so some people dont believe in the existence of a God ok thats fine......but the way they talk with such arrogance and contempt about the worlds majority who do is probably what keeps these types of debates going in my opinion Christianity has had and still does have a massive influence on everything we do, to compare that to a pop star is nonsense in my opinion, I also find it strange that people on here who are predominantly nationalistic and have an affinity to nature would follow a foreign religion that puts so much emphasis on money over nature than our traditional pagan religions that worshipped real tangiable things that absolutely unquestionably do give us life I.e the sun the moon sea etc etc, christianity judaism islam are to me just the beginnings of capitilism/corporation and globalism the very things many on here seem so against so I can only conlude that it is some of you god botherers that are confused as i am absolutely certain in my beliefs. The only "god" is mother nature. Edited September 26, 2016 by JDHUNTING

greg64 2,806
I think most people can be persuaded of anything if they are shown real evidence but for me it comes down to this, you can't deny what you see and feel. If you see and feel something and the logic and actions are stacking up then it's real to you.......it's as simple as that. but some people have imaginary friends that are very real to them Maybe they are real ?...........ever considered that? Just cause we can't see them don't mean they are not there........if it's real to them then it's real. just because its real to them does not make it real wilf it just makes it real to them .there is a difference

kanny 20,420
Are you sure mate? In 15th century B.C. in the Mount Sinai, Egypt as told in the book of Exodus, it was in that peak that Moses encounter with God, a big cloud came from heaven and the voice of "God" told Moses to come into the cloud. He approaches the cloud and a door opens, he enter and the door closes. He ascended to God in smoke, fire, loud noise, trembling. All religions talk about the same story with different names but with the same explanation when and how he ascended to speak with "God". People misinterpreted what happened as something divine, because they didn't knew what was going on. But why if God is omnipresent needed to do such a scene just to talk to Moses. What was the "cloud" that Moses entered to ascend and speak to God? What kind of transportation did he used that fly, make loud noise, trembled and had fire? More than something divine, it sound like some technology. In the Islam, we have encounters with divine beings like the narration that angel Gabriel was a mediator between Alah and Mohammed. Gabriel usually came to Mohammed in a cave to give him wisdom. But there were two times when Mohammed encounter Gabriel outside of the cave and not in person, but in a magnificent shining object with 600 wings and burning as fire. Its this hovering shiny object in front of Mohammed a UFO?
