I do think when people are too far wrapped in religion and trying to make sense of every written word (when it is plain some of it makes no sense) is where the argument starts to unravel for me... Hence my preference for Wilfs more simplistic approach (no offence meant mate lol)...

Entropy is not the same as everything becoming nothing. It's more like the maximum that can be achieved at 0Kelvin (the coldest temp poss that we know of) which is the lowest entropy possible in any state. However that does not take in mass, gravity and possibly other forces that may or may not exist into account.

 

I'm way open minded when it comes to physics.. For example the theory of everything when discovered could come with the knowledge of a whole new branch of physics.

 

The collapse idea is still up there in the running ?

Im not an educated person but i do feel ive half a brain in my head and i havent got the foggiest idea what Mushroom is talking about for the most part.....thats not to say i think he,s right or wrong but it has to be said theres only a very small percentage of people with that kind of tuition i mean if all that's off the top of your head and isnt part of your career i think thats remarkable knowledge......i dont mix in particularly high scholarship circles if anyone i knew had that sort of knowledge id book him as a complete anorak so this being a forum with whats probably a pretty good cross section of society i wouldnt imagine theres more than a few who could relate to it......but thats not to say its too complicated to be right i just think the vast majority of people will go with their gut....and rightly so.
