timmy k 591
Well that article wasn't quite the great advertisement it should of been, tales of badger baiting terriers and an all to brief mention of the fell and moorland club, sounds like the fella was a right ungrateful c**t!! 2 Quote Link to post

HOLD YOUR HEADS UP HIGH LADS, THIS WAS YOUR DAY! Yep and every dog with a couple of scars was used as a "bait dog" by dogfighters.... Fair play to the lads that helped rescue the terrier even if the owner was a bit of an ignorant twat. Quote Link to post

Rat face 1,655
to be fair the reporter has heavily edited what the lad has told them, been speaking to the lads from the rescue tonight at our meeting the guy was over the moon offering money to the lads and wanting to donate money to the club, the dog was a rescue dog but the lad openly said that yesterday has changed the way he sees terrier men and before all this he believed the carp that the people at the rescue center told him, and he told all this to the reporter but they choose not to write it. so if we have only changed the mind set of one person and his family its a start, other papers are going to be running the story tomorrow so see if we get a bit better coverage from them just to add there as been over 100 people wanting to donate money to the club so its a start i guess 13 Quote Link to post
BGD 6,436
Brilliant if you've opened his eyes to the fact not all terriermen are badger baiting thugs, exactly what these clubs should be about hats off to you all 2 Quote Link to post

Haiddheliwr 1,911
Sorry RF the red mist descended when I read the newspaper report knowing what you lads had done. Feel much better now you have clarified the situation. Just wanted you and the lads to have the credit you deserve. Well done mate. ATB 1 Quote Link to post
