Better too late than too early I would imagine. Mine has matured mentally and attitude changed at about 2 1/2. But your better off chatting to irish lads lol

you will know when your dogs mature enough may it be 15 months or 2 years old. My mate had one and it didn't mature till it was 2 half years old but then did them regular from that age

Mines a first cross bull grey will be two in deceber he done his first fox sunday with no bother very fast dispatch so imo the later the better but i can only speak for my dog.
