Foxes Pairing Up.

Last week i could hear foxes barking which i thought was a bit early.

Anyway on Thursday night the 8 September i first heard then saw two foxes tied together,

Has anyone else encountered this so early in the year,,,,ps the foxes were in a very built up area.

I reckon seasons are all to buggery now,

We had proper defined seasons in the 70-80s switches to grumpy old git mode .

Still January in Scotland when they pair up and mate. The gestation period is only 51 to 53 days, so cubs will hit the ground in early November. Incredible. Where are you?

last season I was hearing them calling regular from the beginning of October.

Heard them last night terriers went mad

I've heard them as well the last week or so but assumed it was vixen still in contact with the cubs or vice versa! Seeing them tied is something else though, definitely seasons changing!

I heard them about a month ago calling to each other. I just put it down to cubs too.

I saw them in central Manchester,nr Piccadilly Station.

Vixens still have cubs close to them.

Quite common to hear fox cry this time lf year.

 

Shouting to cubs get off the middle of that stubble your dad died there last year. Lol
