Anyone use one? Not sure whether to get the 410 or 20 bore, thinking of buying one for bolting rabbits near barn conversions etc

I got one Mossberg pump action it's silly quiet with magnasonic shells took to clay shoot and my mate had a go and now wants one . Got this vid of him using it to show people how quite it is

Sounds like the 410 is capable then, no need for the 20? Whats the range of the 410? About 25 yards?

I am going to get one in spring, I could do with both the 410/ and either the 12 or 20, they seem to be hard to find second hand, and when you do find them,the price isn't much better than new, I am told the 20 is far better than the 12 but you don't see the cartridge selection in the 20 bore,as in heavy stuff,

Years ago I had a hushpower single barrel 12, to notice any difference in noise you had to use subsonic cartridges... Whuch were f***ing useless.

 

Beased on that I wouldn't bother with a moderated 12 bore unless they have c9me on a hell of a long way.

 

It would be worth getting the. 410 and seeing hiw you get on with it before buying a 20 or a 12, you'd be surprised... Or I certainly was how well you can kill with it.

Another aside,

 

I am sure I read somewhere or heard that someone is developing an aftermarjet shotgun moderator that screws into the choke tube, or maybe I dreamt it?
