Ossie n Arch 1,682
My brother was on exercise in Belize once. Part of the exercise was to train with special forces, not sure which one. My brothers unit were sent out into the jungle to hide and evade the special forces. After a while, which may have been days, this local looking guy rides up on a moped to where my brother and mates are hiding. He stops, has a look around and rides off. Three days later he comes back. Stops again, has another look around, then looks straight at my brothers position and says "Alright lads" He's clocked them all along.

DIDO.1 22,844
My great uncle dick fought with the long range desert group in north Africa. His son, who I call my cousin was a colour sergeant major and was attached to the sas. The other day he attended his daughter's passing out parade. Proud military history in that side of the family. I was brought up on bed time stories about how uncle dick killed Rommel and my cousin was the first man on the balcony lol Edited September 10, 2016 by DIDO.1

Blackbriar 8,569
That captured SAS guy had a few funny comebacks to the reporter. "What was going through your mind"? Hopefully not a bullet lol "We tried to persuade him that we weren't going to do him any harm...." "With a gun pointing at him ?" "Yeah...on reflection, the gun probably didn't help......" And he's definitely perfected the steely-eyed stare !

scothunter 12,609
You need to be a serving soldier. Regardless of your prev rank you automatically become a private. Well so i read.
