Met up with a mate of mine today his father in law died a few wks ago he was 99yrs Oldham he was one of the 1st sas men, 6 serving paras carried him into the church

He was part of a four man team that was captured in Iraq and were due to be executed mates of mine were part of the team that rescued him ......

Being a little fukcer and ending up in borstal is a far cry from becoming a professional soldier and has nothing to do with potentially being a "professional killing machine".

Apparently, they nearly did....

There was a documentary on a few years back where someone said that Maggie told the SAS boys that she didn't want any prisoners so, when they identified him, platicuffed on the rear lawn, one of the lads picked him up to march him back inside and execute him.

Tey said he was stopped by some of the SAS lads.

I might be wrong Larry but wasn't you lads scared shitless by the SAS and called them the secret assignation squad who took a good number of your lot out who were bombing women and kids shopping

all i know is our lads just put them through the mincer to stop them squealing, prob fed the best of greyhounds
lololol Larry fs it was never like that, the sas was feared by the ira, they were a legal battalion that fought fire with fire, yes the puppet masters pulled the strings but the sas was the killer dogs. The biggest threat to the ira was money which you see today up in stormont

you stick to reading your books len an il work off what i seen
you go ahead mate, but how many ira men disappeared at the hands of the sas? I'm not doubting the ira got the odd home run, but by no means did they dominate the sas, how many ira men infiltrated the sas compared to how many times the ira itself was infiltrated, the object was to keep you n me at war with eachother so that the puppet masters could keep control through fear.

i remember 4 or 5 them getting wacked in west belfast when they started up a laundry company... must of thought the natives were stupid

3 killed and one escaped, only one of them was SAS, it was a military intelligence unit that was analysing the clothes for blood and gun oil etc. The IRA had a double agent that helped them discover it.

I really can't see how anyone can compare trained soldiers to amateurs wearing balaclavas. Especially amateurs who like to call themselves an army but never fancied a toe to toe fight with real soldiers.
